Restaurant Worktables and Shelving
Restaurant worktables come with galvanized or stainless shelves and wood tops or stainless. They can have open or enclosed bases and may be equipped with a wood top, which is a wood top. Worktables may accommodate rolling storage bins or one or more drawers. They may have one ore more drawers and various configurations of over shelves or the ability for built in appliances. The sizes range in height from 24 to 72 with common shelf widths being 14, 18, 21, 24, 30, and 36 giving operators a combination of options to fit any need. They are generally coated with zinc for dry, moisture free storage or chrome finish for front of house shelving. Most shelves are attached on posts with snap on plastic clips, push snap locks. Most shelving doesnt require tools to put together or to move shelving up or down to fit different applications. Nowadays they offer color coded shelf markers to help staff organize storage and prevent cross contamination. Some makers offer self leveling feet, or you can put casters for easy cleanup underneath. Also they offer removable mats place on the shelves to help prevent foodborne illnesses.
